What leads to odds drops
There is always a lot of talk about the events that lead to a downfall. For years it was believed that when a performance drops drastically, the match is... rigged!
Of course match fixing exists and always will be. Thus, connoisseurs may bet on them, hoping to make a profit on information, while lowering returns. But that doesn't mean that a drop in odds means fixing a match. There are a number of additional factors that can lead to changes in a set. Let's look at some examples:
- Injury to a footballer that changes the balance of the match
- Change of coach
- News about changes in the lineup
- Weather conditions that give a team an edge
- Unforeseen obstacles to the guest's journey
- Scoring motivation that changed after another match result
Odds Drops in live betting
Odds drops don't just happen before the start of matches, of course, but even within them. Especially during the live game, prices are constantly changing and are affected by the progress of the match. The image of the match can lead to mild changes, which brings bets from the players in favor of the team that dominates and looks closer to the goal. Rapid price changes occur when an event occurs that changes the balance of the race. Such events can be the sending off of a player and especially a goal.
Bets based on market movements
Many players are guided in their game by odds drops. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but if you think about it, it seems a bit strange! This is because they are essentially betting on... unknown reason. As mentioned above, odds changes can bring many reasons. So a player can bet on a home win whose price drops because he thinks it is rigged, but in the end the visitor's mission to reach the stadium has simply been delayed!
